BENSON SKYDIVE DISPLAYS
ABOUT US
In 1980, Dave Benson developed a passion for skydiving as a personal hobby. His natural abilities and keen interest in the sport soon led him to participate in aerial displays at local sporting events and other occasions. It wasn't long before Dave realized that he could offer more than just a standard "aerial show" to sponsors, and thus, the idea of Extreme Air Ads was born. He proposed the concept of carrying flags bearing the sponsor's logo during his displays, which greatly enhanced the promotional impact of the events for his clients.

Over time, Dave continued to refine his skills and push the boundaries of his displays, using flags that ranged from 1 x 1.5 metres to a world-record AGIP oils flag that measured an impressive 1210 square metres. The success of Extreme Air Ads inspired a family legacy, as Dave's son Rod Benson established Benson Skydive Displays to carry on the tradition. Today, the company performs Skydiving Displays and Helicopter-towed Banner Displays across Australia and around the world.
